For more than a year-and-half, a steering committee under the auspices of the Tahel organization and with the participation of Bat Melech’s COB, Tzilit Jacobson, conducted many discussions and finally, today, it presented an inter-religion agreement to fight the disease of sexual violence.
In a meeting specifically convened this morning by Haifa Mayor for that subject, Dr. Enat Kalish-Rotem, the agreement was presented and signed by leaders from the various religious sectors in Israel.
During the event, the leaders were presented with guidelines – developed by the steering committee- on how to advise and guide victimized individuals who may come to them for help and guidance.
